Corduroy - Don Freeman
Rating: 6/10
The art is pretty good, it's a touching story. Definitely a couple moments of suspense, sorta. The department store aspect doesn't hold up well at all, which is unfortunate. I imagine myself being like, imagine Amazon but it's a whole building with different departments on different floors, but then I realize kids are barely going to understand what a "department" is except for like Target or Wal-Mart in the future. Anyway, nice book. I'm not going out of my way for it, or anything, but that's ok.
