I love this book, it's so much fun. Obviously you have to know the fairy tales to really enjoy it, but my fond memories of checking this out of the town library as an elementary school student were totally validated. In fact, I think it's funnier now that I'm older. This is one of those books that is itself an art project about books. Great stuff. The art has a very particular and excellent style, there's a meta-story that flows across the stories within, and it's all very simple (in a good way).
